This is for a client who is lucky enough to have a beach hut on West Wittering beach. With a brand new beach hut to replace the old and knackered one, the brief was quite simple; 2 seating sections, mandatory under seat storage, and a folding table. There was not much in the way of key design elements to play with, but the folding table leg, and end support really stand out.

Pine structural frame, Birch ply bench tops and same for the folding table, with tongue and groove siding. The double folding table feature, not only looks great and exceeded what the client expected. A yacht varnish was used with proper care and attention to obtain excellent results, so that the finish would last longer and cope with the hostile environment of sand and sea salt.
